Yobeat started on the 2MB of free space that came with AOL accounts in 1997.
Inspired by the quality journalism in teen rags such as Tiger Beat and Teen Beat and the
"yo-culture" of snowboarding at the time, but too broke to print it out, we set out to
expose the various truths in the world of snowboarding and beyond via the WWW.
20 years later, we're still doing it, but now as grown-ass adults and on any
internet-fueled platform we like. Read it, live it, love it.
